The General Assembly of the International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics (IUGG 2023) was held from 11 until 20 of July at the City Cube conference center in Berlin.

June 28, 2023. Clarivate Analytics has published the ranking of scientific journals (Journal Citation Reports) with impact factors for 2022.

The practical training was attended by students from a technical school at the Geoprocessing Belsk Laboratory (GeoBeLa). The visit took place from May 22nd to May 26th as part of the Practical Training course.

On 22-26 May, the jubilee 40th International School of Hydraulics was held in Kąty Rybackie (Poland).

On Friday, May 26, a kayak trip was organised, in which a large number of employees of our Institute took part.

The platform “EPOS Data Portal” will be presented at the EGU General Assembly 2023 and will allow scientists, students and stakeholders to access multidisciplinary scientific data and products for understanding Earth dynamics.

The traditional meeting of the Polish polar community took place in Sopot on May 18-19. The organizers and hosts of this year’s conference were the Institute of Oceanology PAS, the Polish Polar Consortium, the Committee on Polar Research and the Polar Club of the Polish Geographical Society.
