We are pleased to introduce Eslam Mohamed, a PhD candidate at the Seismic Research Department, Institute of Geophysics, Polish Academy of Sciences, GeoPlanet Doctoral School & SEG of Exploration Geophysicists Vice President at IG, PAS.
With a background in Petroleum Geoscience from Cairo University, Egypt, and over five years of petroleum industry experience in seismic data processing and imaging, Eslam’s research now focuses on Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS), P- and S-wave seismic imaging, and tomography for near-surface geophysical applications.
This year, Eslam has represented the SEG Student Chapter at the SEG/Chevron Student Leadership Symposium (USA) and attended the IMAGE 2025 conference, gaining valuable international experience and connecting with professionals from academia and industry.
