JOB DESRIPTION

We offer work in an international team dealing with earthquake seismology: natural and anthropogenic seismicity and related hazards. The selected candidate will participate in scientific research in this field, conducted in IG PAS in cooperation with scientists from Europe and non-European countries. They will also participate in national and international projects.

Requirements for candidates:

• Master's degree in geophysics, earth sciences, physics or related field.
• Good knowledge of mathematics at the second-cycle level, particularly mathematical statistics and probability calculus.
• Knowledge of programming in MATLAB or PHYTON languages to the extent that allows them to create their own codes to help solve assigned tasks.
• Ability to use IT tools.
• Knowledge of earthquake seismology will be welcome.
• Knowledge of English at least C1 level.

Predispositions to scientific work: enthusiasm, creativity, and autonomy in solving given issues, as well as the ability to work in a team.Required documents:
