  • 07/2013: B.S. title Institute of Geological Sciences, Jagiellonian University, Cracow (10/201 0– 06/2013)

Employment:

  • 04/2024 – now: Assistant Professor, Department of Magnetism, Institute of Geophysics, Polish Academy of Sciences
  • 12/2022 – 04/2024: Assistant Professor, Department of Polar and Marine Research, Institute of Geophysics, Polish Academy of Sciences
  • 06/2021 – 11/2022: Assistant, Department of Polar and Marine Research, Institute of Geophysics, Polish Academy of Sciences

Main research focus:

  • Research on the evolution of the Earth’s oldest continental crust, with particular emphasis on the Napier Complex in East Antarctica. Application of integrated geochronological and isotopic geochemical methods (U–Pb, Hf, O), combined with micro-area chemical analyses, to reconstruct magmatic and metamorphic processes operating in the Archean (4.0–2.5 Ga).

Grants:

  • 2026–2023: NCN project (PRELUDIUM), Reconstruction of crustal evolution based on the rocks from the Amundsen Bay, East Antarctica. Project no. 2022/45/N/ST10/02686
  • 2021: SYNTHESYS+ project (European Commission – funded project), The evolution of Archean crust: magmatic and metamorphic events in the Napier Mountains, Napier Complex, east Antarctica.
