Between June 21 and 27 Paweł Rowinski, Monika Kalinowska, Michael Nones and Yiwei Guo attended the 41st IAHR World Congress in Singapore.

Under the theme “Innovative Water Engineering for Sustainable Development”, the Congress bring together more than 1500 participants from all over the world exchange cutting-edge knowledge and explore innovative solutions to the most pressing water-related challenges.

The Congress was the opportunity to not only share the latest research performed at IG PAS, but also to participate to numerous meetings and interact with international colleagues, strengthening the connections with other institutions. Paweł Rowinski and Michael Nones were also actively involved in IAHR-related events such as the Council and the European Division meeting.

About the IAHR World Congress

The International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research (IAHR) is a worldwide independent organisation of engineers and water specialists working in fields related to the hydro-environmental sciences and their practical application.

The World Congress, held biannually, is the most important congress of the Association, attracting thousand participants from the scientific, industrial and technological sectors, becoming a platform for the exchange of knowledge, presentation of the latest research and establishing international contacts. The Congress programme includes scientific sessions, poster presentations, thematic workshops, equipment and software exhibitions, and special networking events. The next edition will be held in Bari (Italy) between June 27 and July 2, 2027.
