GeoPlanet – Earth and Planetary Research Centre consortium members are:

- Institute of Oceanology, Polish Academy of Sciences
- Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center, Polish Academy of Sciences.
GeoPlanet, the first Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences in the country, meets the needs of conducting a broad spectrum of research in Earth and other planetary sciences.
Strategic directions for the development of the GeoPlanet Center include:
- Supporting the research activities of the Institutes affiliated with the Center
- Cooperation in acquiring and implementing joint scientific and research projects
- Organization of joint scientific conferences and seminars, as well as conducting educational activities in the area of trainings for employees and public education.
