Dr hab. inż. Andrzej Górszczyk from the Department of Seismic Research of IG PAS was invited by the School of Earth and Space Sciences at Peking University for a one-week scientific visit.
The visit was motivated by shared research interests in full-waveform inversion and seismic imaging. During his stay, Dr. Górszczyk delivered three seminars for students and staff of the department, presenting research on high-resolution crustal-scale imaging conducted at IG PAS.
The visit provided an opportunity to exchange scientific expertise, discuss current research challenges, and explore possibilities for future collaboration between IG PAS and Peking University within joint research projects and grant applications.
