Geophysics at School

The Institute of Geophysics Polish Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Innovative Education invite all interested to participate in the "GEOPHYSICS AT SCHOOL" project. The project's primary goal is to popularize geophysics (geography, geology and physics), in particular to provide lectures, presentations and workshops for students of lower and upper secondary schools. Academic tutors will share knowledge and present their accomplishments and skills using a language friendly for young people. Presentations will include among others the work of seismologist, polar researcher, magnet specialist or hydrologist. In the first phase workshops will be organized at no cost and held at the school's premises.
