Libraries

The Institute's library is the leading geophysical library in Poland. It has a large collection of publications on seismology,
geomagnetism, Earth's interior dynamics, polar research, physics of atmosphere, global and mining geophysics,
hydrological research, climate change and environmental problems.

Collection Includes:

• nearly 32,700 volumes of books,
• 115 titles of current journals
• 306 maps and atlases
• access to over 4200 electronic journals

Since 2000, the library has been using an integrated library system Horizon,
and has an on-line catalogue (Open Public Access Catalogue), which is still being updated.

Working Hours:

Mondays - Fridays 9 am - 3 pm
